What is Career Cartography?
In my 20+ years of working in different countries, industries, settings and scales, with all sorts of marvellous people…I found we were all chasing the same thing:
Success
Success means different things to different people. But beneath the variety, I found that there are, in fact, patterns. Patterns that predict the speed at which people achieve their goals.
I felt that there were a couple of patterns that had an outsize impact:
Having a mentor or a sponsor
Understanding your professional landscape
I started Career Cartography to address this - my vision is that everyone should be able to have a panel of people to help them steer their careers.
